You can tell Excel how exactly to compile the row through the optional scan_by_column argument. "1" tells the function to exclude blank cells, "2" instructs the function to exclude cells that contain errors (such as "#NAME!" or "#VALUE!", for example), and "3" instructs the function to ignore both blank cells and errors.
